Daily quests reset at midnight, weekly quests on Monday. Members see their progress with /quests, which also has a Vote on top.gg button.

  • Votes: top.gg lets people vote every 12 hours; the quest pays once a day. A vote counts in every server the voter shares with Journo.
  • Messages only count when they also earn activity points, so spamming doesn't help.
  • Friends count when someone new joins with the member's invite link. Accounts younger than 7 days and people who were in the server before don't count. Journo needs the Manage Server permission to see invite counts.
  • Suggestions and bug reports: pick your channels or forums in /settings > Suggestions and bug reports. In a forum, a new post is a post and messages in it are comments; in a text channel, a message is a post and a reply is a comment. Commenting on your own post doesn't count, and these quests stay hidden until the channels are picked.
  • Donations and hype trains: these points follow a real payment, so like donation points they can be spent on anything except raffle entries.

Change them

  • /quest list shows every quest, including switched-off ones.
  • /quest toggle switches a quest off or on, and /quest remove takes it away (base quests can be brought back with /quest toggle).
  • /quest edit changes a quest's reward or target, for example 20 messages for 2 points.
  • In /settings > Quests you can switch quests off completely, or stop the "completed a quest" messages.

Your own quests (Plus and up)

/quest create adds a daily or weekly quest of your own: send messages, react to messages, claim /daily, invite friends, donate, send gifts, chip in to a hype train, vote in polls, or post and comment on suggestions and bug reports, with the target and reward you choose.

To post quest completions and goal news in one channel, press Post rewards news here in /settings > Points and coins.
