Moderation

Automatic moderation runs on every plan. Set it up in /settings > Moderation.

What it catches

• Spam: by default, 6 messages within 8 seconds gets a 10 minute timeout. You can choose delete, warn, timeout or kick instead.
• Blocked words: removed from chat automatically.
• Invite links to other Discord servers: removed (on by default). You can also remove all links.
• Mass mentions: messages that mention more than 6 people are removed.
• New accounts: flag, or kick, accounts younger than a number of days you choose (off by default).

It also logs edited and deleted messages. To choose the log channel, run /settings in it, pick Moderation and press Send moderation logs here.

Roles you exempt are never touched.

Staff tools

• /warn: warn a member. They get a DM.
• /warnings: see a member's warnings, including AI watch strikes.
• /clear-warning: remove one warning by its number.
• /timeout: time a member out.
• /purge: delete recent messages in this channel.

After 3 warnings (you can change the number, or set 0 to switch it off), Journo times the member out. You can choose kick instead.
