Support Journo
Every donation goes towards developing and improving Journo, adding new tools and features for every community that uses it.
You pay on PayPal's own site, by card or with your PayPal account. A donation to Journo is a payment to the project, not a donation to a charity.
Donate from inside Discord
Members can also support Journo right from their server, on every plan. They donate any amount with /donate, or tap an amount on the server's donation panel (€3, €5, €10, €25), and can add a message or give anonymously.
As a thank-you, every donor gets 3 activity points for each euro. Donations work the same on every server, so there's nothing to configure. Donors are thanked where the panel is, and /donations shows the month's total and top supporters; anonymous gifts are never named.
Server owners: deploy the panel with /donate-panel in your support channel (or /settings, Donations, green button). On the Free and Standard plans you get 5% of every donation made while your panel is up, paid to your PayPal.
Where the money goes
Donations go towards Journo's development and improvement, adding new tools and features. On Free and Standard, 5% goes to the server owner when they've deployed the donation panel.
Shop sales are where server owners earn. When members buy coins or memberships in a server, the owner gets a share:

Points from donating can be spent on anything except raffle entries, so money never buys a chance to win.
