Venture

For card-night crews, drone pilots, driving clubs, puzzle solvers and travel groups. Journo talks like an expedition guide, counts Miles and Trail Tokens, and sends letters by air mail.

Add Journo to DiscordWatch it in 30 seconds

Free plan included: once Journo joins, /config theme switches the look. From Standard, /layout apply builds the whole Venture server.

A sealed Venture letter addressed to Mira, marked “Par Avion · By Air Mail”.
This one is addressed to Mira. Go on, be Mira.
A real letter drawn by Journo in this theme: a field-journal page with map contours and travel stamps, in an air mail envelope. In Discord, /letter seals it and only the person it's for can break the seal.

What the theme changes

Run /config theme and pick Venturing (outdoors, travel, hobbies and games). Journo switches all of this for the whole server at once, and you can still change any single part with /config set.

An evening in Basecamp Club

Basecamp Club is a made-up games-night and road-trip server. Every message below is Journo's real wording with the Venture theme switched on. The names and numbers are examples.

Journo in #basecamp: a Miles daily reward, the quest board and the Miles leaderboard

Daily rewards, quests and a leaderboard

Members claim /daily, work through quests and climb the leaderboard, all counted in Miles. Base quests work on every plan. On Plus you add your own, like “Campfire chat”.

/daily/quests/leaderboard

Custom quests, streak bonuses and the points leaderboard come with Plus.

Journo answering a question in the Venture voice, then delivering a sealed letter to Mira

Answers in character, letters under seal

/ask answers from your server's own rules and guides, like an upbeat expedition guide: encouraging, practical and curious, always safety-minded. /letter seals a letter that only the person it's for can open.

/ask/letter/kb add-text

Letters work on every plan. The help desk answers 500 questions a month on Free.

A staff notice using the Venture icons, a community goal in Miles and a raffle

Goals, raffles and your own icons

Staff post with the Venture icon pack, members chip in to community goals, and every raffle entrant gets exactly one ticket. Coins can never buy a raffle entry, so the odds stay fair.

/goal contribute/raffle create/emojis install

Community goals come with Premium. Custom quests, streak bonuses and the points leaderboard come with Plus.

30 seconds in Basecamp Club

Start your next adventure. The clip plays the same moments as the screenshots: a question answered in character, a raffle drawn with one ticket each, and a letter whose seal gets broken.

Add Journo to Discord

The whole server in one command

On the Standard plan and up, run /layout apply and Journo builds a adventure club for you: 23 channels in 6 categories, from #🧩・challenges to #🎟️・prize-booth, three forums, a staff-only area, ranks members earn with quests, and rules with a Verify button, so new members only see the rules until they agree. Channels you already have are kept, and nothing is ever deleted.

Discord doesn't allow custom emojis in channel names, so the names use standard emoji. Journo puts the Venture icons everywhere Discord does allow them: the start-here guide, forum tags, the welcome screen on Community servers and role icons from Boost level 2.

Tell Journo about your server

The theme sets the look. One or two sentences about your server make the AI's answers, pictures, letters and moderation fit it. Here's a start you can change:

Paste into Discord
/config set key:theme.setting value:A games-night and road-trip community: poker and blackjack nights for fun points, trivia on Fridays and Euro Truck Simulator convoys on Sundays. No real-money gambling.

Set it up in three steps

  1. Invite Journo

Press Add to Discord and pick your server. Then drag Journo's role above any role it should hand out.

  2. Build the server

On Standard and up, /layout apply makes the channels, forums, ranks and both icon packs in the Venture style. Only want the look, or on Free? /config theme and pick “Venturing (outdoors, travel, hobbies and games)”.

  3. Describe your server

Paste the line above with your own details, then follow the guided tour. /setup-check shows anything still missing.
