What the theme changes

Run /config theme and pick Medieval (historical, 15th century Europe). Journo switches all of this for the whole server at once, and you can still change any single part with /config set.

An evening in Kingdom of Morava

Kingdom of Morava is a made-up medieval kingdom server. Every message below is Journo's real wording with the Medieval theme switched on. The names and numbers are examples.

Members claim /daily, work through quests and climb the leaderboard, all counted in Renown. Base quests work on every plan. On Plus you add your own, like “Work the fields”.

Staff post with the Medieval icon pack, members chip in to community goals, and every raffle entrant gets exactly one ticket. Coins can never buy a raffle entry, so the odds stay fair.

The whole server in one command

On the Standard plan and up, run /layout apply and Journo builds a medieval kingdom for you: 23 channels in 6 categories, from #🏹・quest-board to #🪙・the-market, three forums, a staff-only area, ranks members earn with quests, and rules with a Verify button, so new members only see the rules until they agree. Channels you already have are kept, and nothing is ever deleted.

📜 Laws of the Realm

Hear ye! These laws keep the peace of the realm. Break them and the stocks await.

  1. Keep the king's peace. Treat everyone with respect.
  2. Keep the village decent. Keep it safe for everyone: no NSFW, gore or shock content in messages, names, avatars, letters or AI pictures.
  3. No hawkers or swindlers. No spam, scams, ads or self-promotion, and no unsolicited DMs to other members.
  4. Every trade in its own street. Keep each channel on topic, put spoilers in spoiler tags, and use the forums for groups, suggestions and bug reports.
  5. No dark arts with the illuminators. Use the AI features kindly: no /imagine, /ask or letters about real people, or anything hateful, sexual or violent.
  6. Honest coin only. Play fair: one account per person.
  7. A sealed letter stays sealed. Respect privacy.
  8. The council's judgement is final. Need help, or want to report something? Open a ticket in the help desk.

Discord doesn't allow custom emojis in channel names, so the names use standard emoji. Journo puts the Medieval icons everywhere Discord does allow them: the start-here guide, forum tags, the welcome screen on Community servers and role icons from Boost level 2.

Set it up in three steps

  1. Invite Journo

    Press Add to Discord and pick your server. Then drag Journo's role above any role it should hand out.

    On Standard and up, /layout apply makes the channels, forums, ranks and both icon packs in the Medieval style. Only want the look, or on Free? /config theme and pick “Medieval (historical, 15th century Europe)”.

  3. Describe your server
